💦 MESSAGE…
Jesus, the Christ had Joseph and Mary as His earthly parents. Both were from the tribe of Judah as was David, the king. Their ancestral town was the town of David, Bethlehem in Judea, but they lived most of their lives in a small town in Galilee called Nazareth, the town that housed the Roman garrison that was in charge of Galilee. By virtue of that, natives of Nazareth had constant contact with people all over the world. This was the town Jesus, the Christ was raised up. *“Nazareth!” exclaimed Nathanael. “Can anything good come from Nazareth?”“Come and see for yourself,” Philip replied. John 1:46NLT*

This Jesus, the Christ or in other word Messiah meaning the Savior, the Eternal King.(Micah 5:2) was born in Bethlehem in a manger, a stable or a feeding trough for animals. Imagine the surrounding Jesus, the Eternal King was born. This was the atmosphere Jews never expected the Messiah to be born. Royal surroundings was purported instead of dirty and homeless surrounding. In addition, Son of a carpenter instead of a Son of a Rabbi or a High Priest or a Scribe. He had no special education like the sons of Priests, Kings, among others. Yet He, Jesus, the Savior and Eternal King became the promised One for not only Israel but the world at large(Luke 2:32, Acts 2:36).

LIFE APPLICATION
Jesus, the Christ who is our Savior and God had a very humble beginning. His place of birth and the environment raised from are evidence, yet His parent did well by raising Him in godliness. *Every year Jesus’ parents went to Jerusalem for the Passover festival. Luke 2:41NLT*. Though His parents were living in a hostile environment but their way of life as godly people were intact and so affected the Son. Despite our humble beginnings, we can make head way in life if and only we remain godly, true to what God expects of us. Joseph, a just man and Mary’s godliness has helped change the story of human race.

_Friends, our godliness despite the humble beginnings has the potency to change the story of our very generation._
