So, what is the lasting home? Is there such a thing? The answer lies in our faith. As Christians, we believe that our eternal home lies with God in heaven. Our ultimate destination is with Him, where we will spend eternity worshipping and praising Him. It is where we will find true joy, peace, and rest. Some may argue that this is just a figment of our imagination, but for us, it is our hope and our salvation. Those that argue against the existence of an eternal home, have nothing to offer in return. They live in a state of bleak despair and hopelessness without any alternative.
They walk a path without certainty of its conclusion, aimlessly wandering and unsure of what they are waiting for. This alternative is unacceptable. We have an eternal abode, dearest.
While we are still on earth, we can still make our home with God. We can build a lasting relationship with Him that will carry us through this life and beyond. Our home is not just a physical location; it is a state of being. When we are with God, we are truly at home, no matter where we are physically.
It is essential to prioritize our relationship with God above anything else. Money, career, material possessions, and even our relationships will all fade away at some point. But our relationship with God is the only thing that will last forever. It is the only thing that will provide us with true satisfaction and fulfillment in life.
